Take the first step- Photography 101- Learning to control your camera
Established in 2006 this is the original Photo 101 class in Tampa. Don't be fooled by imitators!
Photo 101 is a great class to start getting your camera off of automatic and better understand using the buttons and dials. It is five weeks of essentials of camera operation and learning how to make great pictures. It will help you get the right picture every time instead of wondering why you shoot 20 images and 1 comes out good. You will begin thinking more like a photographer. We will discuss lighting, posing, composition, and the fun parts of photography. This class is a 5-week series with a working professional photographer, much more comprehensive than other 3-4 hour seminars offered in Tampa. Make sure to see the comments made by past students! For more info click here.
This photography lighting class will help you understand general lighting rules, the relationship between flash and available light, and how to work with people you are going to photograph. The workshop includes classroom instruction as well as a shoot with a live model in an awesome urban setting. Come learn and have some fun as well! For more info click here.

Private one on one photography lessons and camera instruction make great gifts! I assess students current learning level, and start improving their photographic skills and camera operation. First lessons are usually for 2 hours, but can be tailored to individual needs.
