Helicopter recovered from Hillsborough Bay following crash the night before

A Robinson 44 Raven II is prepared to be lifted from Hillsborough Bay following a crash the night before.

A crowd gathered to watch a helicopter being pulled out of Hillsborough Bay around mid-day. A Robinson R 44 four-seat helicopter was hoisted out of the water on Friday afternoon following a crash that occurred around 5 PM Thursday. Reports say that no one was seriously injured. The flight was returning from a one-hour tour from the Peter O. Knight airport on Davis Islands. The four passengers were able to make it to shore 300 feet away. The helicopter remained submerged overnight until recovery efforts were performed on Friday. A crane, marine rescue, and a flatbed are pictured in the recovery effort
