Shooting in Ybor City leaves two dead and sixteen injured

Evidence markers on 7th Ave and on a car in Ybor City are part of the investigation still on going after daybreak on Sunday.

Pre-Halloween revelers broke out in a fight after 2:00 a.m. on Saturday in Ybor City, leaving a 14-year-old and a 22-year-old dead and sixteen others injured by gunfire. According to officials, the shooting started after a dispute between two groups broke out as partiers were leaving the bars at closing time in the historic district. While police are still looking for others involved, Tyrell Stephen Phillips, 22, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder with a firearm.
