If I walk peacefully the picture usually appears. This backseat drooler was looking at me as if to say, "Hey buddy can let me out?". The dried drool on the side of the car says it all.

I had the honor of photographing Mike Jernigan, a Marine who lost both eyes and had 45% of his cranium crushed. He still meets everyday with a smile. Men like this make the job worthwhile.
