Let Our Lens Take You There
It's Aliive! Shooting with a Kodak Duaflex IV and Kodet f15 Lens
It sat on my shelf for 20 years, and has been a family relic for as long as I can remember. Surrounded by a dozen other cameras, it never occurred to me to try it. After all, they don’t make 620 film anymore and the shutter never seemed to work years ago when I tried it. Here’s what happened.
Art on the Block Mural Day Brings a Message of Unity and Inclusion
Temperatures in the high 90s and oppressive humidity didn’t slow artists and volunteers from participating in the Art on the Block Mural Day happening in five intersections across the city of Tampa on Saturday. Rollers rolled and brushes brushed transforming normally black asphalt into works of art. The city commissioned local artists to come up with work that promoted unity and inclusiveness for this one-day project.

Derby Lane: Nostalgic and thrilling. See it while you still can.
I feel so fortunate to have been allowed to photograph inside Derby Lane a few weeks ago. Being a documentary photographer, I seek out places that have historical meaning to the bay area. Derby Lane and dog racing has been a staple in the community since 1925, but the last race is scheduled for December of 2020. I was granted permission to bring cameras and record a typical day at the races. I had never been inside the gates. It was fantastic.

PEACE, LOVE, AND CONFLICT PREVAIL AT ST PETE PRIDE
The 2018 St Pete Pride festival is sweltering in the mid 90's and packed with sweaty energetic people on Saturday. The air is filled with a mixture of weed, sunscreen, and fading cheap body spray. The atmosphere is sexually charged by low cut sometimes absent tops mixed with painted body parts and a lot of hugging, kissing and drinking. Bun revealing cut-off shorts, fish net stockings, rainbow tutus and slogan t-shirts rule the day, but there's a lot of individual style going on as well.
FLORIDA NATIONAL CEMETERY HONORS THE FALLEN ON MEMORIAL DAY 2018
The dark clouds set a somber mood appropriate for celebrating the lives of the men and women who have served our country and died doing so. I don't think you can get an appreciation of the number of lives that have been lost in the defense of our country until you see the enormity of the cemetery and the row upon row of grave markers.
