I ventured out on my annual Florida State Fair food junket on opening day, but this year, Tampa Bay Times Events and Travel reporter Sharon Kennedy Wynne and Video Producer Aya Diab joined me this time. The intent was to find the best, possible, most outlandish fair food for 2024.
Rome and Fig Global Bistro
A mix up in reservations landed us at Rome and Fig last night. It was a perfect mistake. We got to sit at the friendly and talentedly tended bar, eat some great food, and even meet one of the owners, Kristine Zostant.
