If you haven’t taken advantage of Creative Loafing newspaper’s Burger Week, you better get crackin’. From Tuesday, November 3rd, through Sunday, November 13th, 2022, CL has teamed up with over 30 area restaurants to bring some pretty fab $10 specials on burgers and other menu items, Funky Buddha beer, and Tito’s Vodka drinks. Funky and Tito’s are sponsors of Burger Week. Proceeds go to Feeding Tampa Bay. It’s great food for a great price for a great cause.
Haven Burger Week Menu 2022
We braved the remnants of tropical storm Nicole and hit up Haven, a small Bern’s Steak House dining concept. Their $10 burger selections change daily, and tonight it was their Truffle Juicy Lucy, a fat burger of Bern’s aged beef, topped with creamy Melkbus Truffle Gouda, a sweet and smokey bacon jam, and smeared with truffle aioli, all piled on a fresh bun. When that creamy truffle cheese hits that sweet bacon jam and mixes with the juice of that fat burger…. I mean, take a moment. Outstanding! The dish is served with fries, and I washed it down with a porter from the extensive beer and wine list Haven is known for. It’s all good. Haven’s Burger Week Special is only available between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. They have other happy hour offerings during those hours as well for those who are not burger fans.
